Upcoming Important Dates

• Our class will be taking the TerraNova Standardized Test in April. This test is taken on-line.  Our class will be taking Science on Monday, April 7th, and Social Studies on Monday, April 14th.  Both sessions will begin at 8:50 in the morning.

• Our class is going on our Jefferson City Field Trip on April 23. Field trip permission forms were sent home on Friday. They are due back on April 4th.

• Lifetouch pictures were sent home last week. You need to either return the photographs, money for the photographs, or a combination. They are also due on April 4th.

• MAP Testing will be in the morning on the following days: April 29, 30 & May 1, 6, 7, 8.

Science Fair Topic - Things to Consider

Think about your:	Ask these questions:
Question	Does the topic have a specific answer or solution? Is there a reasonable way to find that answer or solution?
Time	Do I have enough time? Can I finish the work before science fair day on April 9?
Materials	Can I get or make the materials I need? Can I afford them?
Safety	Is my project safe? Is it ethical?
Level	Do I really understand the topic? Can I find resources that aren’t too advanced?
Originality	Is my topic interesting or original in some way? Will anyone care?
Interest	Am I truly interested in this topic?
At school?	Can I complete the project at school?
